We have been diligently working towards creating a better environment for youth throughout our region, and this month, we are focusing on the power of hope.

In our recent survey, 2/3 of students in our region do not agree that students are nice to each other.*

Planet Youth by YAC is committed to changing this statistic by bringing strategies to our communities to create a positive environment for our Youth. 

Strategy #1: Regional Planet Youth Kindness Campaign.

Strategy #2: Implementing HOPE SQUAD in schools across the region. 

Hope Squad is a peer-to-peer mental health program designed to build empathy and kindness and reduce youth suicide through education, training, and peer intervention. 

We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all the incredible individuals who have made the launch of Hope Squad possible, including McCall Donnelly School District, and Meadows Valley School District. This support has been instrumental in bringing this transformative program to our community.
