Cascade Planet Youth Coalition will be meeting on Thursday, April 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cascade Cultural Arts Center.

February

    • We finalized the Tiered Intervention Approach to utilize when the students violate the school’s Drug, Alcohol, Tobacco, and E-cigarette Policy. Our next meeting will be set in April to review how everything is going.
    • We have partnered with Cascade Schools to implement Positive Bathroom Messaging, known as “Bathroom Chats.” The goal of this messaging is to spread awareness on mental health and resources available for those who may be struggling. Resources are included for bullying, mental health, and substance misuse
    • Cascade High School and Junior High have begun implementing HOPE Squad, with 9 student smembers. HOPE Squad is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program that encourages connection and intervention for students, directing those in need to trusted adults to get the best help possible.
    • March 12, 2026 Book Trivia will be held at the Cascade Cultural Arts Center. To get involved please email Shauna Arnold at shaunaarnold@horizonsleteam.org
