Cascade Planet Youth Coalition will be meeting on Thursday, October 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cascade Cultural Arts Center.

    • We finalized the Tiered Intervention Approach to utilize when the students violate the school’s Drug, Alcohol, Tobacco, and E-cigarette Policy. Our next meeting will be set in April to review how everything is going.
    • We have partnered with Cascade Schools to implement Positive Bathroom Messaging, known as “Bathroom Chats.” The goal of this messaging is to spread awareness on mental health and resources available for those who may be struggling. Resources are included for bullying, mental health, and substance misuse
    • Starting in the 2025-26 school year Cascade High School will begin implementing the HOPE Squad program throughout the school. HOPE Squad is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program that encourages connection and intervention for students, directing those in need to trusted adults to get the best help possible.
    • Boo Barn is set to be held October 31, 2025 and November 1, 2025. To get involved please email Shauna Arnold at shaunaarnold@horizonsleteam.org
