• Our biggest success is the After School Program that is held every Tuesday and Thursday in partnership with the Meadows Valley Community Center.  We provide a safe place for students to go after school with a healthy snack and activities for all ages. 

• Meadows Valley Jr. & Sr. High Schools celebrated Hope Week with a full lineup of student-led activities designed to spread positivity and connection. The week kicked off with a campus-wide scavenger hunt featuring inspirational messages, followed by snack packs with encouragement notes and “Courage to Connect” stickers. Midweek brought a lively round of “Rock, Paper, Beads,” which saw strong participation and plenty of fun, and the week wrapped up with a school-wide show of support as students and staff wore Hope Squad colors. With decorated halls and nearly 100 participants, Hope Week created an uplifting atmosphere and reminded students that connection and hope matter.

• MV Coalition partnered with YAC and MV School to bring motivational speaker Donovon Tulbert to students in grades 5–12. Around 60 students and 10 teachers attended, and the impact was incredible. Donovon shared his journey to becoming a successful triple jumper, focusing on the setbacks he faced and the perseverance it took to keep going. His message truly resonated with students. Many said it was one of the best assemblies they’ve ever attended.

• Our next event is the End of Year Bash! June 4th 1:00-3:00 ish. We’re excited to partner with the local fire department, they will bring fire trucks and an ambulance for the students to tour. Dads of the students attending the after school program will barbecue hamburgers and hot dogs and a surprise dessert vendor is in the works. Students can look forward to jumpy castles, water slides, and plenty of fun as we celebrate a successful school year and kick off a great start to summer!
