On Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, we will be conducting our 5th annual IceClimbers event at the Manchester Ice and Event Center in McCall as part of McCall’s Winter Carnival. (IceClimbers is one of the programs for people with special needs offered by Courageous Kids Climbing, in this case, ice-skating.)
This FREE ice-skating opportunity is open to anyone between the ages of 3-months and 103-years (yes, one-hundred and three) with special needs – physical or intellectual, including visual-challenges, hearing impaired and burn survivors – to spend one hour ice skating with members of the Boise State University (BSU) men’s ice hockey club! NOTE: Participants will NOT be forced to skate and are more than welcome to come hang out with us!
Space is limited to the first twenty people with special needs to make reservations. Contact [email protected] to make reservations. A flyer for the event is attached and it is in a jpeg format, so please share with anyone who is interested and feel free to post it on social media.
