VCORP

Valley County Opioid Response Project

192 people die

in the United States each day from a drug overdose. Valley County is a geographically isolated region that experienced

11 drug overdose deaths

from 2014 – 2018, nearly doubling that of 2009 – 2013.

The Valley County Opioid Response Project (VCORP) aims to reduce the morbidity and mortality of substance use disorder (SUD), including Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), in the area. VCORP is collaborative initiative to address opioid and other substance misuse. We leverage state and local partners and resources for positive community change.
